Taryn O'Reilly is a queer sculpture artist living and practicing around Southeast London. She has received her Masters in Fine Art through Goldsmiths in London and B.F.A through Arcadia University outside of Philadelphia, PA. Interested in the ideologies of the monstrous feminine and lifelong horror fan, Taryn’s practice and research is centered around exploring our conceptions of queerness, sexuality, and femininity through the use of dark humor, macabre and camp aesthetic.

In 2022, Taryn was awarded the Queer Creative Art fund, in collaboration with Polyester Zine and Monki. She has exhibited in galleries all throughout London and Philadelphia such as the “Queer Contemporaries” showcase through Set Supply, and “London Grads Now” at the Saatchi Gallery. Taryn’s work was published in a book entitled Bound, for the Women’s Caucus for Art in New York City & she was elected for Emerging Artist in Fiber Art Now Magazine in the Spring of 2018.
